Seeing as she and her dad live in 2 seperate states, it is going to have to be 2 seperate policies. His agent would have to have an Oklahoma non resident license, otherwise, she is going to have to find a licensed.agent in Oklahoma.

Insurance Carriers can insure in almost any state.If you drive into another state it doesn't mean your not covered.

If the company is licensed to do business in both Ok and Tx, it will work.

If you read company guidelines, you're supposed to insure the vehicles in the state they're garaged in. Exceptions are kids away at college, etc. If she's in college, I wouldn't worry about it.

That being said, I wouldn't worry about it in any instance with it being insured in OK anyways since the title is in his name and he has the insurable interest. If there's a claim, the insurance company can't duck out of it. Just make sure your friend is listed as the driver on the policy.
